Thanks for getting in touch. There are multiple stages via the modular route to a commercial pilots license.
Assuming you achieve the standards required on minimum hours it will cost between £39,500 to £47,000. Factors that influence the price are bulk buying hours for modules and hour building. As well as the order in which you meet the requirements.
The PPL stage will cost around £8,000.
The Night Rating will cost about £1,000.
Then you will need to build about 100 hours, approximately £13,000-£15,000 depending on if you bulk buy hours.
The Multi-Engine rating will be about £3,000
Commercial Pilots License (done with our sister School in Cranfield) – £6,625. Can be cheaper if you do route 2 of your IR first.
Multi Engine Instrument Rating: There are 2 routes
1) Route 1 – £13,000 – full time full MEIR with 35 hours FNPT2 sim.
2) Route 2 – £10,000 to £12,000 Upgrading via competency based route. IMC/IR(Restriced) rating first. Independent IFR flying. Then CBMEIR at the ATO in (done with our sister School in Cranfield).

Do we require any qualifications prior to applying and what would make our application stand out ?
Thanks for getting in touch. There are no A-level requirements to learn to fly. The best thing to do is to speak with a member of the team on the phone and possibly book yourself a trial lesson. With this you’ll be able to have a go flying the aircraft, ask questions and see if it is something that you would like to do.
